[Anime Crossover] The Finest Flavor in the World

After escaping the MAFIA, Jun Fushiguro takes the bewildered Megumi Fushiguro by the hand and tries to figure out what kind of respectable business to start.

And so, in a corner of Tokyo crawling with jujutsu sorcerers, espers, MAFIA, and onmyoji, a Chinese restaurant quietly opens its doors.

The sweet fermented rice dumplings are soft and smooth, sweet but not cloying. One bowl warms you from head to toe;

The beef brisket stew is richly marbled, with alternating layers of lean meat and fat, tender and flavorful after a long simmer. You could easily eat three bowls of rice with it alone;

The spicy crawfish look glossy and tempting, and once you peel off the shells, the meat is pearly white, with plenty of roe. Paired with a few bottles of beer, you could eat until dawn...

As more and more regulars fill the restaurant, the villains all come to the same conclusion: to conquer the world, they must first conquer this restaurant.

But after walking around the place, they start to have second thoughts: Why conquer the world? Is hot pot not delicious? Is malatang not tasty enough?

In short, it's a story about healing the world through good food.

Reader's note: This story contains a mountain of headcanon, and the timeline is all over the place.

Theme: Life is bitter, but my stories will always be sweet.
