An extremely looks-obsessed, occasionally foul-tempered exam candidate (with an unusual way of thinking and an IQ that often goes offline) as the bottom x an all-around, powerful, doting NPC as the top (somewhat lacking in common sense)
Shen Shihe x Hera Tokes
Just after finally completing his mission and getting home, Second Young Master Shen discovered that his older brother was missing. “...?”
Second Young Master Shen: Where's my brother? No, where did my huge older brother go?! (??д?)
So Second Young Master Shen, a devoted brother, set off to find him. On his way to the wasteland of District Two, a voice inexplicably rang in his head.
[Suitable high school freshman detected. System admission in progress...]
Furious Second Young Master Shen: Get lost!
The voice claimed to be the System. Then the stupid System told him that if he wanted to get out, he had to pass all kinds of exam scenarios. He could either get out on his own two feet or be carried out horizontally.
Shen, the defiant troublemaker: Hah. I'm the one who threatens other people. What gives you the right to threaten me?
As he spoke, he struck back and crushed a monster, his smile turning menacing. “Are you sure you won't let me out?”
System: [...] For every exam scenario you complete, the System will give Student Shen an extra clue about your brother.
Second Young Master Shen smiled warmly. “Why didn't you say so earlier? I wouldn't want us to have a falling-out over a misunderstanding.”
Brother! Wait for me! Your little brother is coming to find you!!! 0w0
On his fearless quest to find his brother, someone latched onto him! An NPC! Sure, this NPC was extremely, extremely his type, a gorgeous beauty! But he was here to find his brother, not to fall in love.
He would eliminate every obstacle in his path to finding his brother.
[Exam Scenario: Mountain God Sacrifice]
The sacrificial altar, abandoned for who knew how many years, stood silently in the center of the enormous temple. In the faint light, the altar's ornate, elaborate carvings had weathered the passage of time. Cracks followed the patterns and spread all the way to the very center of the altar.
There stood a jade statue several dozen feet tall.
The statue's head was slightly bowed. Its white hair, carved from jade, looked like a flowing river of light, falling gently over its black robes. The face beneath that white hair was so beautiful it took one's breath away. It was not something human hands could have carved. It was the face of a true god, a face that made anyone who saw it from afar shudder and feel reverence, a beauty beyond words.
A massive white jade serpent's tail coiled and trailed behind the god. When the dim light fell upon it from afar, the tail seemed to come alive and move slowly. Every scale carved upon it was dazzling.
Unlike the statue's expanses of white and black, its eyes stood out: those eyes, lowered slightly, gazed coolly down at the center of the altar.
They were inlaid and carved from a special mineral of rich, gorgeous, flawless pure red. The red eyes held no emotion, yet there was something strange about them, like a beautiful abyss, or the depths of a cold, dark sea.
They inspired both reverence and obsession.
One longed desperately to meet that gaze, to have one's reflection be the only thing those eyes ever saw. It made the human desire to possess boil over.
Shen Shihe's eyes curved into a smile. His bloodstained lips twisted into a mocking grin, his pale golden hair brushed across his forehead, and an extreme madness surfaced in his cold green eyes.
“Great god, may I kill you?”
His voice was cold and hoarse, yet irresistibly alluring.
