The Beach Where I Was Reborn

[1] Whenever a typhoon hits, strange things happen on the island where Lin Yiqing lives. She suspects it has something to do with a shipwreck ten years ago. The families of the missing sailors have hired search-and-rescue teams several times to search the waters where the accident happened. After graduating, she becomes a lottery retailer. By day, she rides her little electric scooter to various shops to restock scratch tickets. At night, she sits at the pier waiting for news from the search-and-rescue team. [2] The handsome new neighbor across the hall works at the weather station and looks just like her first love, whose romance never got off the ground. The handsome guy often takes his pet duck for a walk downstairs. The duck has a plump, fluffy bottom that waddles from side to side. Lin Yiqing uses her interest in the pet duck to strike up a conversation. "Hello." "Your duck..." "Can I touch its bottom?" The old building has terrible internet, and the connection drops out the middle sentence. She wants to explain in person, but the moment their eyes meet, he covers his backside and runs away. [3] Shi Xingyu is a meteorologist responsible for recording the weather in real time. During typhoon season, he circles the island with a megaphone, reminding residents to stay safe. Passing the beach, he sees Lin Yiqing standing in the sea, the water up to her chest. He rushes toward the shore like a madman, but it's too late. He searches the water for a long time and can't find a trace of her. After reporting it to the police, he returns home in a daze. Lin Yiqing pokes her head out from across the hall. She meets his tearfully joyful gaze. He looks like an abandoned puppy that has wandered through the rainy night for ages and finally found its owner, soaked through but shining bright. "You..." His voice is hoarse, his throat soaked with seawater. Lin Yiqing puts her hands on her hips. "Admit it! You like me!" #My First Love Caught Me in My Rebirth Loop *Pretending to be cool x genuinely sweet *One-on-one, both each other's first and only *Island life | Unconventional rebirth | Rules horror | Happy ending Theme: I can catch the moon
