In the modern world, Qiu Zhi was a forensic pathologist. One day, he woke up transmigrated to the Wei Dynasty, where he met Prince Yan, Zhu Yongxian, who had also transmigrated. As it happened, both were gay, one a top and the other a bottom, and they hit it off at once.
Qiu Zhi (the bottom) is determined to become a great detective, while Zhu Yongxian (the top) is determined to be a virtuous, supportive husband. Together, they begin solving cases in ancient times.
The top dotes on the bottom, absolutely spoils him.
A gentle prince top x a frail, clever bottom
There are nine cases in all, with classic whodunit-style mysteries. The main mystery plot consists of original storylines and characters, so you don't need to know Dream of the Red Chamber to enjoy it.
The fourth and eighth cases, as well as the extra chapters, are related to the main Dream of the Red Chamber storyline and involve almost no mystery-solving. The male leads will appear much less, and the focus will be on the women of Dream of the Red Chamber. Readers interested in Dream of the Red Chamber can choose what to read based on the volume titles.
The protagonists and the Twelve Beauties of Jinling are on parallel storylines. The protagonists are little butterflies whose wingbeats change the fates of the women in Dream of the Red Chamber.
The protagonists will have no personal interactions with the beauties apart from those related to cases.
Every beauty is a beautiful, kind woman, and I won't deliberately portray any of them negatively. The beauties won't change their fates by getting married; they will have careers of their own. Honest work is glorious.
This is a historical fantasy set in an imaginary dynasty. The modern elements are also fictional and do not take place in any known era.
The laws are based mainly on the Great Ming Code, along with laws from various eras.

The male protagonist is so silly here that it's unlikely that he can't shout at anyone. If he reveals his findings, at least two people can be sent to follow him, right? If the gangster had been more ferocious, he would definitely have died. He was being too heroic.
So that's the case, no wonder Qiaoer wants to change rooms...
This coincidence is a bit too deliberate. It has to be done in public and deliberately to seduce. No wonder it is suspected. After all, if it really offends the prince and his life is at stake, why bother to seduce him? But if the protagonist didn't point it out, I would still be a little confused, hehe 🤩
Lord Qiu is always on the way to getting hurt It's really crispy. Is it because I got slapped in the past?
Wow, the Jia family fell so quickly. I thought it would be in the middle and late stages. By the way, if they knew that Qiu Qiu found out first, would they go to him and cause trouble?
Ten WeChat ahhahahahahahaha
Looking forward to the prequel! Thanks for the limited fee!
