Fortunes are unpredictable, and disaster can strike in an instant.
Cheng Shuang, Lord of Clouds, had been a perfectly contented, laid-back immortal, but somehow got caught up in the bankruptcy crisis of her company, Kunlun Mound, and was sent down to the mortal world.
-
A thousand years later, the bustling city was crowded and noisy.
The Divine Realm sent a top-tier minor deity to help Lord of Clouds return to her post.
But the return-to-work process turned out to involve mountains of paperwork and a series of hurdles she had to overcome one by one.
She became caught up in an absurd urban adventure. Her fellow gods, each carrying their own secrets, defied the rules and converged in the mortal world. It was a case of old enemies running into each other everywhere.
#To create "eternal daylight," Kunlun Mound in the Divine Realm left countless people unemployed, adrift in a sea of humanity.
#An unconventional romance, urban adventure x Classic of Mountains and Seas mythology.
#This story is a little old. At least the first half is pretty ridiculous, so just have fun with it.
