A Slow-Burning Love That Never Loses Its Spark~ (Original Title: A Kind Word)
A misunderstanding brings two people together, and then Yi Ju happens to stumble upon the other's breakup.
Neither of them is looking for anything more at first. They simply become friends who appreciate each other. But fate has its way, and love quietly takes root.
When Yi Ju was still unknown, Zhou Liangyan already liked his paintings. But through a twist of fate, they met without recognizing each other...
“I regret not meeting you sooner, but I'm grateful for everything I went through before, because it lets me love you better now.”
Zhou Liangyan x Yi Ju: 33-year-old AI research scientist gong x 28-year-old Chinese ink painter shou
The high-minded version:
What will come of the collision between AI technology and original art? Will it spark something new, or will both be shattered?
As AI technology makes its way into every industry, does traditional painting still have value? Can AI technology and original art develop side by side?
The times are changing, and no one knows whether today's choices are right or wrong. All we can do is act with a clear conscience and live without regrets.
The sweet-and-fluffy version:
One afternoon, a certain patient tapped Yi Ju on the waist and asked with a smile, “Darling, what am I to you now?”
Yi Ju raised an eyebrow. “Someone who's being pursued?”
“Can someone who's being pursued get promoted to boyfriend?”
“Not really.”
“I'm not just someone who's being pursued. I'm also a patient.”
“So?”
“The person responsible for my injury has to take care of me.”
“Bring you lunch every day?”
“Not enough.”
“Then breakfast too?”
“Still not satisfied.”
“All three meals?”
This time, the man simply looked at Yi Ju without saying a word, his hand holding on to Yi Ju's arm and refusing to let him leave.
Seeing how uncharacteristically clingy he was, Yi Ju slowly caught on and chuckled. “If you want me to move in, just say so, Brother Yan.”
The interview version:
In the words of our classmate Liu Yitong:
“Yi Ju looks aloof, as if he were born for art, but he's actually warmhearted, perceptive, and down-to-earth.
“Our Lao Zhou looks sociable, carefree, and open-minded, but underneath he's cold and domineering, and always has the final say.
“One looks detached from the world but is actually engaged with it, while the other looks engaged with it but is actually detached.
“They're a perfect match.”
A few things to know:
1. Brother Yan studied computer science, but he doesn't do AI painting. He's a researcher, working on AI restoration of ancient paintings and VR projects because of his interest in art.
2. Both of them have had long relationships in the past.
But once they decide to pursue a relationship or start dating, they only have eyes and hearts for each other. They absolutely won't get tangled up emotionally with an ex or anyone else.
Brother Yan is 33, and Ju is 28. People this accomplished and this old in real life (not that they're old) are bound to have had partners and intimate relationships. That's part of the background you can't avoid when writing the mature relationship I want to portray.
If I were writing a campus romance, I might make the two of them exceptionally lucky, meeting and getting to know each other in the best years of their lives, then ending up together after working through their differences. But writing about older men that way would go against what I want to do. Adults should know how to handle each relationship before meeting and loving each other again in earnest.
(For more details, see the author's notes in Chapters 10 and 26.)
3. Please don't curse at the author, and especially don't curse at my precious characters. I'm far too sensitive and will shatter into 180 pieces (bites handkerchief). Let's all be kind and get along!
4. Because I've revised the story, many chapters of pirated versions differ greatly from this one. The author takes no responsibility for the contents of pirated copies.
A slow-simmered love story with an unhurried pace. Thank you to every reader who's stuck around for updates and left comments and feedback! Your bookmarks and comments are the greatest motivation for me to keep writing!
Thank you again (bows).
Theme: Always love life
The opening text of the next book is "Hush, please shut up when it gets dark [Infinite]", "Anyone who often kills people knows that there will be a refractory period for first timers, which is reflected in tinnitus, rapid heartbeat, and infinitely amplified senses." Infinite flow of stories about childhood sweethearts getting reunited~ (please collect) (flower in mouth) (pen refill)
Oh my God, it was written so well. Damn, why aren't you so popular? 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 It really made my heart hurt when I read it. It was so well written 😭 😭 😭 In fact, uncleanliness is my highlight, but It is this article that really attracts me the most. Zhou Liangyan broke the rules of adult communication for the first time for Teacher Yi and broke his own view of relationships for the second time 😭 especially the sentence "Save Brother Yan" 😭 😭 😭 ]😭 I feel so bad. He knew that his Teacher Yi was leaving. He had loved her very early and had carefully introduced him into the game from the very beginning, hoping to catch the person he loved. 😭😭 He was afraid that if he took one wrong step, Teacher Yi would really go into the night, so he put on his formal clothes. An ordinary person can control himself 😭 😭 😭 But after realizing that it was useless, he chose to use his life to tie Teacher Yi to bet that Teacher Yi loved him 😭 Oh my god, I am crying to death. The more details he saw, the more details he saw 😭 😭
There is a locator inside the ring 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 That's why Zhou Liangyan knew where Teacher Yi was, right? That's why Zhou Liangyan drove to find Teacher Yi regardless of it, because he knew that he had picked up the ring, right? 😭
Although the ending is a bit sloppy, it's still a good love story
I just saw the big reply. I'll check it out!!!
It's really just a massage
I hope we will see each other again. I love you, wife.
In fact, the most disgusting thing about falling in love is that all the good feelings must be exhausted, leaving only the memory of mutual torture.
Everything is fine woo woo woo
