Low-ranking official's daughter × playboy
Food blogger Jiang Zhaozhao transmigrates and finds herself as the eldest daughter of a low-ranking county official.
Zhaozhao thinks she can finally lie flat and become a pampered official's daughter, with clothes and meals brought to her. But apparently, that good life isn't meant for her.
Her father's meager salary as a low-ranking official is only enough to feed the family. They live on a tight budget, eating plain congee and simple dishes every day, with not a drop of grease in sight. They only splurge on a couple of jin of pork for festivals.
After going hungry for two days, Zhaozhao angrily rolls up her sleeves: Time to make some money and fill my belly!
Today, she sells egg tarts, milk tea, and pickled chili chicken feet.
Tomorrow, she sells barbecue, pudding, and spicy crayfish!
Before she knows it, she's become the richest person in Bianjing.
Zhaozhao, who has worked herself to the bone, munches on a pig's trotter and declares: Just a basic operation. Stay calm~
Bonus Scene:
Zhaozhao's former friends and relatives all look down on Jiang Zhaozhao for appearing in public to do business.
Yet at palace banquets, in the commandery princess's residence, and at the banquets of dukes, marquises, and earls, egg tarts, popcorn, and taro milk tea start appearing everywhere.
A few days later, they boast outside Jiang Zhaozhao's shop:
"The shopkeeper is my friend!"
"That's right! I can take as much of the limited-edition taro mochi as I like!"
"My own niece opened this place. I don't have to stand in line like you poor things!"
Jiang Zhaozhao raises an eyebrow: Huh? I don't know you, never met you, never heard of you~
