After a whole series of trap missions wears him down, Ji Yan's only comfort is the fluffy creature at home, black-haired and red-eyed, elegant and lazy.

The cat belonged to the original character, which basically makes it his now. He can pet and torment it however he likes.

So late every night, to relieve his frustrations from the day, Ji Yan always kisses and cuddles his cat.

The cat is well-behaved and eager, wrapping its fluffy tail around his wrist...

Then one day, the cat goes into heat. Ji Yan immediately scoops it up and rushes to the vet to have it neutered.

But... the cat runs away.

He finally finds it at Qi Chu's place. There, he sees Qi Chu, who usually has a cool, indifferent expression for everyone, sitting dejectedly on the floor with Ji Yan's cat in his arms. His eyes are dark and unreadable as he mutters to himself.

"Does he hate me that much?"

"So much that he wants to have me neutered."

"If that thing's gone, what will he use?"

Ji Yan, eavesdropping around the corner: He really likes me?

A second later: Wait! He's my cat?!

Shocked, Ji Yan remembers all the ways he used to torment the cat...

That big brother is three years older than him. He's always gentle when he talks, and when he smiles, his eyes curve into crescents. He's clean-cut and handsome.

Ke Jin hides in a corner, watching Yu Qingci's intimate interactions with his CP partner. Unmentionable thoughts slowly take root and grow within him.

He begins scheming to interrupt their interactions.
