[I’m not writing that earlier idea after all. I’ve changed it to this one. If you’re not interested, feel free to remove it from your collection. I’m very sorry!]
Nan Xi has a sworn enemy she can’t get along with.
Lou Xianyi seemed to have been born to oppose her. They were evenly matched in cultivation, neither able to beat the other, and in their daily lives they somehow always ended up wanting the same unusual trinkets.
Furious, Nan Xi did everything she could to surpass Lou Xianyi.
But before she could, she suddenly awakened and discovered that she was living inside a novel.
In the novel, she was a vicious supporting character who relied on her high cultivation to look down on everyone and torment the Dragon-Born Protagonist in every possible way. In the end, she brought disaster upon herself and got what she deserved.
It took Nan Xi a long time to recover. The first thing she thought once she did was: [Lou Xianyi is so arrogant and conceited! Why isn’t he the villain?!]
If you have a goal, you have to take action. Nan Xi stormed over to confront him.
*
Lou Xianyi was eating grapes. Seeing Nan Xi looking furious, he started to offer her one, then pulled it back. “What is it? Here to challenge me again? Not to be rude, but your...”
He didn’t get to finish. Nan Xi grabbed him by the collar and yanked him up from the couch.
“Hey! Why are you ambushing me? Do you have any...” Lou Xianyi didn’t get to finish again.
Nan Xi had pushed his head into the water jar in the courtyard that they used to water the flowers.
Nan Xi put one hand on her hip while holding Lou Xianyi by the collar with the other. “Have you awakened yet...”
Lou Xianyi’s head sank into the jar. His words came out muffled between bubbles. “Nan Xi! You #@&...”
He was cursing up a storm.
It was a pretty vicious method, but fortunately, it worked.
Just as Nan Xi had expected, Lou Xianyi, so arrogant and conceited, was a major villain just like her.
Lou Xianyi dried his hair with spiritual energy and refused to speak to Nan Xi.
“Hey?” Nan Xi leaned closer. Catching his pleasant scent, she asked, “Are you really mad?”
Lou Xianyi turned his head away and ignored her.
If he won’t respond to kindness, try force!
Nan Xi thought this over, grabbed his shoulder, leaned half her body against him, and threatened, “Lou Xianyi! We’re in this together now. We’re like grasshoppers tied to the same string, so you...”
Lou Xianyi wasn’t paying attention to the rest of what she said.
His earlobes burned, turning so red they looked ready to drip blood. He wondered if he’d used too much spiritual energy, then nodded a few times. “Got it, got it.”
Excellent. Nan Xi was satisfied. She had formed a villain squad with herself at the head and a total of two members, and began her mission to save the villains from their fates.
1. A clueless girl and a clueless male lead, both secretly falling for each other.
2. I’ll probably revise the blurb before I start posting.
3. This time I want to write a sharp-tongued, tsundere, boyish male lead. It’ll probably be a daily routine of childish bickering, so if that’s not your thing, proceed with caution!
Theme: Teamwork is most important.
