Elaine is a nobody. His current job is to clean up the world's cancer: tangible and intangible things called "Calamities." He is also building up his strength to achieve a modest goal.
Just a few months after arriving in this new world, Elaine had dealt with several Calamities. He'd also received the thanks of residents afflicted by a "strange illness," a thank-you banner, and an invitation from the Black Organization, also known as the booze factory.
"Huh?" What is that supposed to be?
A fashion brand for black coats and an international winery?
A famous employee of the booze factory sneered, loaded his weapon, and took aim.
If they'd just said so earlier: they wanted him to treat "difficult and unusual cases."
Elaine readily accepted the "invitation" to the booze factory, where he met the Black Organization's leader.
After entering the room, Elaine sighed with relief, then let out another sigh.
The good news: it was a Calamity.
The bad news: it was a time-bomb Calamity.
It didn't just explode in a split second. It sent the booze factory's boss straight into reincarnation at high speed and conveniently found Elaine a job, putting him to work on the spot.
Perfect timing: the BOSS's medical appointment instantly turned into a BOSS hire.
The Calamity's only ability was identity replacement. From that moment on, as far as everyone else was concerned, the Black Organization's leader had always been him, Elaine.
BOSS hired on the spot, except the position is BOSS.
The booze factory's brand-new boss, Elaine: ...
Was he being framed??
The Silver Killer, who had kidnapped him, ahem, invited him over, had already changed his tune. He lowered his eyes respectfully and called him "BOSS." Beyond this base lay a much wider world, where the famous Detective Conan was making a name for himself at crime scenes, while talent agencies like the KGB, MI6, and FBI were working up a storm on the international stage. All kinds of forces were on high alert, watching and waiting for the booze factory's BOSS to show himself.
Innocent passerby Elaine: ...
This is so unfair, unbearably unfair! The blame is coming at him from every direction!!!
To keep this from interfering with his real work, Elaine thought for a few seconds and decided to carry on the previous BOSS's fine tradition: go all-in on hiring BOSSes.
Find an heir, a young master for the Black Organization, who can take over as BOSS when the time comes.
Is one too few? What if something happens? Then... how about a whole pool of heir candidates? Encourage competition and fuel the rat race.
Second-in-command, deputy second-in-command, third-in-command, deputy third-in-command... assign them all. Hire them all on the spot, no internships, straight to work!
Gin: .
Bourbon: ...
Conan: Uh.
Mouri: Hm?

Elaine, Part One.
Just writing for fun and practice. There's too much to worry about in real life, so this is a change of pace.
I won't abandon it, but I have too many hobbies and update erratically. I hope I can stay strong and update more often (hands clasped together).
Theme: 111111.
Hahahahaha the red star shines in the second dimension
Okiya Subaru's cat is so cute! ! !
Before reading: It's only one chapter, but it's great that it's finally updated.
Halfway through I felt something was wrong, so I glanced at the page number: Grooving, 60!
Yysy really likes Cats and the Kingdom of Dreams. Woohoo.

Will there be a big black bat in Pigeon Tan (myth)
I have to say that I feel that the author is in good spirits. Keep up the good work, dear author.
The cover is interesting. How many years have passed since I saw the abstract and it still has ptsd?
