The art student no longer remembers why they ever wanted to paint. They picked up a brush only because their mother had always wished for it, and so they had no choice.
But after several years, the art teacher kept shaking their head and saying the student just wasn't cut out for painting.
On the student's eighteenth birthday, a white-haired old man appeared and said, "Your mother has prayed for years for you to succeed at painting. I was moved by her devotion.
"So, child! Transmigrate and save the world. Once you gain extraordinary painting skills, you'll be able to go home."
The art student: "..."
This rotten old man is awful. Is he trying to make sure I never get home?
And worse, isn't this the comic world I came up with myself?
The art student remembers this world isn't exactly peaceful, does they?
A city gets 'nuked into peace' every few days. Getting 'greeted' by nonhuman beings while walking down the street is an everyday occurrence. And from time to time, they hold 'friendly' games to save or destroy the world.
Even so, to get home, the art student works diligently to improve their painting skills and repair the world.
After spending who knows how long here, the art student has become the 'God of Painting,' feared and revered by everyone.
To the art student, this world is just a picture on paper.
Touching up this comic's world, then adding a few oddly styled 'bosses' to a world that was already dangerous...
It's all easy enough.
After all, you can't expect an art student who isn't cut out for painting to produce anything normal.
Right?
