Healing Hearts in the World of Comics

[No secret identities are revealed in the main story. Everyone in the comic world is an overthinker. Updates whenever inspiration strikes.]

The Reverse Travel Agency is a wildly popular ongoing comic that's currently taking the world by storm. Unfortunately, halfway through the serialization, its inhuman author started killing off characters! The entire protagonist group was wiped out! So the readers were furious...

Then Zhou Quzhong, an author with all ten fingers broken, was approached one day by a cat. The cat claimed it could restore his fingers to their former state. After considering it carefully, he agreed to enter the comic world, achieve a healing (heartbreaking) ending, and become a highly popular character.

"The reason I protect them? I can't remember..."

Yi Ren, a lonely guardian. No one but his friends could enter his heart.

His old friends died one by one, leaving him alone in the world. He couldn't give in to his own desires. All he could do was shut away his heart and shoulder his friends' responsibilities.

[Su Yi! Hurry and save your teacher! He's still trapped in the past and hasn't been able to move on!]

[The angst! This is pure angst! You old bastard, I ***]

"All I've ever wanted to do is destroy the world."

Nan Ke, one of the major villains who had been manipulating everything from behind the scenes, was dressed in a wide black cloak from his first appearance to his final scene. He carried a black, antique lamp engraved with forget-me-not patterns and glowing with an eerie blue light. From beginning to end, all he ever showed was a pair of golden eyes.

At first, readers hated him to the core and went to the forum every day to demand that the old bastard write him out of the story. Later, they cried and begged the old bastard to put down his pen and let him live.

[They're crazy... They're all crazy...]

[He just wanted to see his best friend one more time! Give us back Nan Ke, you old bastard! He doesn't deserve to die!]

[Hey! Did Nan Ke smile today?! I saw him smile. He smiled when he saw his best friend, then went off to die!]

[Drag them away. Another one's gone crazy...]
