I'm 187 Cm Tall. Do You Dare Meet Me?

[Updates vary, 4-5 times a week, posted after midnight.] During the summer break of his freshman year, Chen Nian stayed on campus instead of going home, spending his days in the science reading room. His life was dull but fulfilling. That was until his cousin, who was the same age as him, got into a university in the capital and excitedly came to visit early. Chen Nian had no choice but to sacrifice his study time and play tour guide. Chen Nian was on high alert. He and his cousin had never been on the same wavelength, and she now had a lot of bizarre new interests: wearing outlandish clothes, following virtual idols, shipping same-sex couples... He gritted his teeth and accompanied her to one event after another, all the way to their final stop: a low-key, stylish, LGBT-friendly bar. The bar was filled with shifting lights and an alluring atmosphere. Every handsome man and beautiful woman there was enough to trigger his fear of fashionable people. The most popular guy was a stunningly handsome man with striking features, dressed head to toe in designer brands. He wore a white T-shirt and sunglasses, his hair casually swept back, and lounged on the sofa chatting with others. His friends were dazzling, too. His cousin was in a hurry to use the restroom. Without a word, she shoved her phone, which was recording video, into Chen Nian's hand and whispered, "Don't move, okay? This angle gets all of them. Any random pairing would be so fun to ship. I want to savor the footage later." Chen Nian: "..." The lights were dim and the camera was well hidden, but Chen Nian was a socially awkward straight guy, and his sense of being out of place among this progressive crowd was painfully obvious. He was caught red-handed. The handsome guy walked over and pinched the phone between two fingers. He lifted his sunglasses, revealing a sharply defined face, and gave Chen Nian a teasing look. "Were you taking pictures of me?" Their eyes met. Chen Nian's face turned red with embarrassment, and he stood there stunned for a long time. His photographic memory, usually an asset, became a liability. This impossibly handsome guy had gone to the same high school as Chen Nian, but they'd only crossed paths once, in their first year. In an empty stairwell, the boy, still young and inexperienced, had straightforwardly shown Chen Nian that he liked him, in that way. Bewildered, Chen Nian had panicked and turned him down. The other boy's face flushed red, much like Chen Nian's now, and he'd walked off with his basketball in his arms. Back then, Chen Nian was an unremarkable bookworm near the top of the class at a private school, while Zhang Yiyang was already somewhat popular. Now, Chen Nian was even more of a bookworm, enrolled in an accelerated bachelor's, master's, and doctoral program, while Zhang Yiyang, with tens of thousands of online fans swooning over his looks, was even taller and more handsome. The one thing that hadn't changed was the rhythm of their beating hearts. Bonus scene: Zhang Yiyang felt like Chen Nian had set him up. Every time they passed each other, Chen Nian would sneak a glance at him, like some kind of stalker. He even went to watch Zhang Yiyang play basketball at the gym and slipped study materials into his desk, all to lead him into confessing. Zhang Yiyang took the bait, got rejected, and couldn't get over it for years. But now, Chen Nian's gaze wandered. He adjusted his glasses and still wouldn't admit it. "I... did I? You must have been mistaken. You and your friends are all so handsome and distinctive, unlike me. I thought you were playing a game." Zhang Yiyang gritted his teeth. "If your romantic sense were even half as good as your intelligence, you'd have been dating a gorgeous guy like me for years by now." Chen Nian mumbled, "You wouldn't have gotten into college." Zhang Yiyang: "..."
