After the Love Contract Expires

Wolfdog seme x queen uke, younger man/older man. A whole lot of baby-talk fluff. It's been ages since I've seen a queen uke, so I'm writing my favorite kind of story: a queen taming her dog. If that's not your thing, don't come in.

When Xue Mu was twenty-five, he fell in love at first sight with twenty-year-old He Huaijin.

Back then, He Huaijin was an illegitimate son who couldn't enter the He family home or be seen in public. Xue Mu took advantage of his hatred for the He family, forcing him to sign a dating contract and promising to help him get revenge on them.

But a contract could bind He Huaijin to him, not his heart. They were together for three years, and He Huaijin gave Xue Mu the cold shoulder for all three.

Everyone in City X was laughing at Xue Mu. He thought his love for He Huaijin would sustain him as he waited, all the way until the day He Huaijin fell in love with him.

But even Xue Mu hadn't expected to reach a point where he was too exhausted to go on.

The person He Huaijin hated most in this life was his biological father. The second was Xue Mu, who had bought his freedom with money.

So when he heard Xue Mu say the words "Let's break up," He Huaijin's first reaction wasn't to agree gladly. Instead, he thought that at last he could get revenge on Xue Mu.

Theme: Focus on your own career. Don't let love make you lose your head, and don't let other people get in the way of your ideals.
