This was originally an ordinary urban superpower comic. Sure, some people had slightly unusual abilities, but everyone lived in peaceful (under the surface) bliss (and chaos), until an organization called "The Masks" suddenly rose to prominence...
Jaws dropped everywhere:
That ruthless person who dishes it out verbally and physically is actually a cool, aloof voice-acting superstar?
That fickle information broker is actually the hacker big shot who's always been at odds with him?
That reputable, top-tier assassin runs a nationwide chain of game shops?
That super-rich second-generation heir...? The person in question perks up excitedly: What? What is it? ...Get that bug you planted out of here! Are you trying to get the family fortune confiscated and spend the rest of your life in prison?
Do I even know this world anymore?
Ordinary people: So everyone's been secretly evolving, and I was the only one left out!
Extraordinary people: We all have extraordinary powers, so why are you guys so ridiculously impressive?
Original comic protagonist: Weren't I supposed to be the main character? ...Actually, I kind of want to join too.
Everyone: Who's the leader of "The Masks"? Someone, get them under control!
The leader of the rumors:
By day: Don't drag me into this. I'm just an ordinary person.
By night: Sorry, I can't help it either.
The actual culprit, Qige: You probably won't believe me, but this world is going to collapse in the future. I'm doing all this to save the world! (shouting.jpg)
Everyone: I seriously can't even.
Much later, everyone, dazed: This world... is beyond saving!
P.S.:
1. The protagonist has no true body. Their secret identities include both men and women, and there are more than the ones mentioned above.
2. The protagonist has no romantic pairing, but their secret identities attract admirers.
3. The secret identities become real. Their ability to be controlled by one person won't be exposed, but their secondary accounts will be uncovered.
4. There are foreshadowed plot points, but don't expect the professional knowledge to hold up to scrutiny.
5. I'm a beginner, so please be kind. If this isn't your thing, don't read.
