A Doctor at the Liquor Factory's Laid-Back Routine

Excellent salary! Four days on, three days off! Easy work! The Black Organization's exclusive hospital is the perfect choice for medical students in dire straits!

This recommendation comes from anesthesiologist Natsukawa Mirai, who has worked at the exclusive hospital for three years and still hasn't anesthetized a single person.

Scene One:

Gin has an inflamed wisdom tooth and is furious that the hospital has no dentist.

Natsukawa Mirai: Come to think of it, tooth extraction requires anesthesia too.

Other doctors: Are you trying to put Gin under general anesthesia? Do you want to die?!

Scene Two:

Rye, a rising star at the Organization, comes in for a checkup with his girlfriend, Miyano Akemi.

Natsukawa Mirai: Akemi, your boyfriend looks like he's got a dark cloud over his brow. He's probably not getting enough sleep. I happen to have a drug that will put him right to sleep with one injection. How about letting him try it? It's free!

Miyano Akemi: ...I'll take you out to eat on my next day off.

Scene Three:

Two more rising stars at the Organization, Bourbon and Scotch, come hiding here while evading pursuit after a failed mission.

Natsukawa Mirai: If you're scared, I can help you sleep until this is all over.

Bourbon: ...

Scotch: ...

Today, too, Natsukawa Mirai can only waste time at work in bitter resentment!

Reader's Guide:

1. This is all about Mirai's everyday life and slacking off! So yes, it's very slice-of-life.

2. The heroine is a double agent, so she'll definitely defect when she gets the chance.

3. The pairing is Shinide Akira, who appears infrequently: the doctor disguised as by Vermouth early in the anime, and then never seen again.
