If you were given a second chance to choose, and could return to an important moment in your life to start over.
Story One: The Little Match Girl
Everyone knew they were friends, co-conspirators, and each other’s strength and support as they faced the world.
He loved it, loved how they depended on each other in this vast universe, but sometimes he still couldn’t help resenting her.
“Su Lin, if you’ll never love me, you shouldn’t be so good to me.”
Story Two: The Little Mermaid
During the afternoons they spent together, the young, well-behaved little sister would often pretend to be asleep on the sofa, just to trick her brother into carrying her back to her room. She treasured the warmth of his embrace, unaware that the one holding her had seen through her tricks long ago, yet always indulged her and granted her little wishes.
“But, Brother, if you didn’t expose me back then, why can’t you keep playing along with me now?”
Story Three: Sleeping Beauty
When the play ended, a parent in the audience noticed that the handsome little knight in the corner had picked up the crown that had fallen by the bed and carefully placed it on the head of the witch who had left the stage early.
Song Yan simply thought a crown like that should belong to the most beautiful person in the whole place.
Story Four: The Red Shoes
The girl was born in a poor fishing village, and even in her dreams she could smell the lingering stench of fish. Even if she could start over, she would still put on those red shoes without hesitation.
Story Five: To be determined
