[Genshin Impact] Rex Lapis Rose from the Dead?!

"Not sure if this will ever be opened, so favorite with caution. Please don't send paid gifts."

The history books of Liyue record that Rex Lapis was wise and farsighted. He faked his death and returned power to the people, then suffered grievous injuries protecting Liyue in the battle against the Heavenly Principles and disappeared. It was feared that he had perished.

But Rex Lapis was a god, beyond the understanding of ordinary people. If one day the Lord of Geo were to return, may future generations remember his kindness and renown, and treat him well.

Later, Azhdaha added a note: I dare anyone to slight him!

Three thousand seven hundred years later, a Liyue archaeological team unearthed a coffin made from ancient Mora.

The man inside was extraordinarily handsome, and his body was so perfectly preserved he hardly looked dead.

Just as everyone was marveling at the skill of their ancestors, the man in the coffin opened his eyes.

The Liyue archaeological team: Holy crap, it's a corpse coming back to life!

Zhongli had slept for three thousand seven hundred years. When he opened his eyes, the world had changed beyond recognition.

But... who was this little girl who looked so much like him?

The girl was in the bloom of youth. With tears in her eyes, she threw herself into Zhongli's arms and cried, "Daddy!"

Zhongli, nearly falling apart on the spot: ???

Please note:

1. This is a story about the Lord of Geo awakening and reuniting with Liyue's younger generation, who have been reincarnated.

2. The story takes place in Teyvat, three thousand seven hundred years after the battle against the Heavenly Principles.

3. The little girl is the embodiment and guardian spirit of Liyue, not Zhongli's biological daughter!

4. Other gods will have secret identities revealed.

5. This is a modern-day story, so there are many original story elements!

Premise: Humans and gods finding their way to one another.
