P.S. The "defection" in the title refers to the distillery in the fake Bourbon Toru world. The original, real Rye Zero world has no defection!

A delicious guide to enjoying this story:

1. The real Rye Zero world is a parallel world. Real Rye Zero is the darling of the Black Organization, a child the Black Organization watched grow up. In this parallel world, Sherry is also a real member of the organization, and Miyano Akemi survives.

2. This is a selfcest story: fake Bourbon Amuro Toru, the top, x real Bourbon Furuya Rei, the bottom.

These labels are mainly to make it easier to tell them apart in the main story.

3. Real Rye Zero is four years younger than fake Toru, and is twenty-five. Real Rye Zero has ended up in fake Toru's world, yep!

4. Real Rye Zero's body shrinks because of drug experiments, and at first his memories are hazy. He's a crybaby, though most of the time he's just trying to win sympathy.

5. Real Rye Zero is better at gathering intel, and can hack and do a little scientific research, but he's much worse at fighting than fake Toru. He can't win, hehe. Real Rye Zero also can't cook.

6. Real Rye Zero has violet-gray eyes and white-blond hair, leaning toward white. Fake Toru has the blue eyes seen in the anime and brown hair, leaning toward blond. This is also to make them easier to tell apart.

7. Adult real Rye Zero has a much nastier personality than fake Toru. He's a little twisted psychologically, but deep down he's still a good kid, even if he does some bad things.

8. Real Rye Zero is Akai Shuichi's biggest fan, lol. The reason will be explained in the story.

9. There may be lots of author commentary and lots of the author's kinks. They're normal kinks, so enjoy! If there are explicit scenes, they'll probably be posted on the purple eel...
