I'm Clearly the One Who's Pathetically in Love

I pine after the goddess, the goddess pines after her crush. What a hassle! I'll just pine after her crush instead! Yu Wen is a veteran simp with a beautiful goddess he's liked for a long time. Every day, he scrimps and saves to buy her roses and strawberry cake, and even knits her a towel by hand. He never expected her to reject him without mercy and say she's a lesbian. No way! Yu Wen has clearly seen her getting close with other guys, playing ball with them, reading with them, and bringing them meals! In a fit of irrationality, Yu Wen gives the roses to the sunny jock heartthrob, the cake to the poor, aloof top student, and the towel to the affection-starved CEO. Even if he can't win the goddess over, he can at least make sure she notices him, Yu Wen thinks glumly. [WeChat Messages] [Heartthrob: I've been meaning to tell you, I like you too. Roses aren't as beautiful as you. Want to go on a date sometime?] [Top Student: How did you know it's my birthday today? This is the sweetest cake I've ever had. Let me thank you by tutoring you on your paper at the library.] [CEO: (Picture) What do you think of me wearing this to work? Everyone at the company thinks you and I are together now.] [Goddess: You little punk, how did you manage to hook all my guy friends?!] Yu Wen's vision goes black. What just happened? Theme: Those who pine for others will be pined for in turn.
