(Welcome to the new cover!)
Stella Weissnacht has a wonderfully accepting family: a Slytherin father, a Beauxbatons mother, and two older brothers, one working in American Muggle society and the other studying in China.
To everyone, the world is simply an adventure laid out before this lucky, adorable child, and all she has to do is choose where to explore and how to go about it.
Rather than becoming the protagonist of an adventure, she would rather live a steady, uncomplicated life, being an upright, loyal, honest person who is unafraid of hardship. Ideally, she could make life better for everyone as she grew up.
“Stella, tomorrow is only today's echo, so be true to yourself!” That was the Sorting Hat's advice on her first day, after being pestered by her wandering thoughts.
But as time passed, she learned that life without playing dumb, and simply living each day earnestly, wasn't so simple after all
The challenges of love, the questions of growing up, the struggles unique to girls,
Even the shadow of Voldemort's return and the tangled clouds hanging over wizarding society
All gradually settled around her.
Simple happiness was gone for good. Either pretend none of it would happen, or shatter the cold silence.
But more valuable than answering a question is the process of solving it, and the countless little questions along the way.
When should you analyze things, and how do you get back to the heart of the matter?
If flowers are destined to wither, birds to fall, and life to end, then why bloom, fly high, and keep setting off for distant places?
Either become numb, or break yourself open through pain. That was the road she took, the road leading to tomorrow.
Note: This is the author's attempt to bring closure to lingering regrets. I don't want to see so many tragedies happen.
I'm really not good at writing blurbs... The story is mainly about Stella Weissnacht growing up, with warm, sweet everyday moments interwoven with the progression of the main plot.
The heroine has no golden finger! No golden finger, no golden finger!
If I had to say, her rigorous reasoning and loving family are the little tools I use to shift the gears of fate.
There may be some heartbreak along the way. I'll do my best to create a satisfying ending where everything fits together logically.
I'll incorporate some cultural background and major events from the 1990s, with notes where needed.
The names in the synopsis are the characters whose perspectives have appeared.
Another note: This story has a strong ensemble feel, and the plot moves slowly, so please read at your discretion.
This story includes GGAD and same-sex romance involving original characters, so please read at your discretion.
This story mostly follows the original canon, with a little reference to the films and Hogwarts Legacy. If I can't find clear information, or haven't worked it all out myself, then please go with my version.
Don't ask why Cedric is only two years older than Harry when you haven't even understood the original books. That's what the books say.
The romance begins before the characters are adults. If you can't handle twelve- or thirteen-year-olds dating, and come tell me that kids in the West generally only date at fifteen or sixteen, or leave some other disguised nitpick, I'll pin your comment so everyone can have a laugh.
If you're culturally insecure and think Western kids wouldn't be interested in beautiful Chinese objects, please read at your discretion.
During my exchange studies in the American East and Europe, the people I met were all aesthetically minded and perfectly normal. They loved hairpins, paints, calligraphy, pocket squares, and ties as gifts. There was no such thing as “I hate it just because it's Chinese culture.”
Don't hate your own culture.
At the same time, this story will briefly deconstruct and rebuild the rules governing magic in Harry Potter's “low-magic world where magic requires no medium,” so please read at your discretion.
This story will substantially repair Voldemort's intelligence as depicted in the original books, so please read at your discretion.
The main plot outside the romance is not a lighthearted power fantasy about crushing Voldemort. It's a process of three-way struggles.
It's three possible answers to “life and death,” “love and hate,” and “myself and the world.”
(For now. I'll revise this after reaching some important milestones.)
Theme: Growing up is an expression of life's dignity. Be true to yourself and brave enough to break through.
Sorry Stella... Muggles are also lifeless now (corpse is ashamed)
The IELTS score is out, with a reading score of 9 and a total score of 7... I will grab a joke in the comment section of this chapter within five days to write a side story... A very happy episode
If you don't mention the Weasley twins, I, a fan of the original novel, really can't remember them being short and fat () but now I think of Ron, who seems to be tall and skinny.
Rita, go write Voldemort's hook literature (Baby Face Time) (Incitement)
My sense of morality is too strong () I thought so when I read the original novel (especially compared to the previous Malfoy)
So what is Zhong Ji's adoptive father's psychological preparation to help Nose Nose? [Question mark] It's better to go to the tower and dig out Grindelwald (Vagabond Soybean)
Oh my god, seeing Victor say that he is a small civil servant reminds me of Mike, hahahahaha, he is also a "civil servant". Look at Mycroft (pointing)
Looks good! Looking forward to the follow-up [star eye][star eye][star eye]
Law of the Universe: No matter how stupid the meaning is expressed in a language that is incomprehensible, it is still very advanced 🐶 😏
Did Zhong Ji's adoptive father die so hastily? He is just a tool to resurrect Voldemort. So why is Zhong Ji afraid of him? My brother is only about 20 years old now, and he can kill him. It's so outrageous [Let me be healthy] [Let me be healthy] (It's just a suggestion. I don't mean to criticize the author. I feel it's a bit unnecessary here.)
