My next novel will be "Beta, but Everyone's Darling (Selfcest)." The blurb is below this one. If you're interested, please add it to your collection!
Yi An, who's been sickly since childhood, suddenly awakens to the plot and learns that he's the tool character and beloved white moonlight in a novel.
The crazed men he has to reform include:
A taciturn, elegant prodigy, revered like a god,
The arrogant real young master who was replaced by him and later brought back,
A super-scholar who grew up in the slums and blossomed like a cypress,
A pitiful, possessive boy who's been unable to hear since childhood and loves to cling to him.
Yi An looks at the weird p mark in the blurb and seriously asks, "Is it really a four-something?"
--
The legendary protagonist shou is gentle and kind, optimistic and cheerful, a resilient little ray of sunshine.
As for Yi An, he collapses after three steps and runs off at the first hint of a breeze. The only reason he hasn't broken character is that he dies early. He works diligently to win people over and tirelessly piles on the melodrama. All in all, he does a pretty good job.
When the protagonist shou appears and the story resumes, Yi An fakes his death and leaves.
He doesn't notice that the novel, which had been headed toward a harmonious ending, begins to completely fall apart. The plot is crazier than ever.
After returning from his treatment, Yi An has two questions:
1. Why has the protagonist shou tag on the novel changed to his name?
2. Why are they all looking at him like that?
Bonus scene:
On the first day after faking his death and returning, the entire airport is locked down. Yi An thinks he's walked into one of those scenes where a CEO catches his runaway sweetheart, but then he sees several old acquaintances drawing closer.
His friend panics: "Cry and beg for mercy! This is about to get out of hand!"
Yi An: "It's fine. I can faint if I have to."
Note: As you can tell from the blurb, this is a Mary Sue story, and everyone goes through a chase-your-wife-to-the-crematorium arc.
Rival men fight over love and throw shade. The main love interest is a heaven-blessed prodigy.
Everyone has one-sided feelings early on. The romance only develops later.
All characters are adults.
Both the shou and the gongs have a rough time, so readers who are very protective of either should proceed with caution!
Coming soon:
Beta, but Everyone's Darling (Selfcest)
(B) Everyone's Darling, Househusband Shou X Green Tea Princess Gong (A)
Shen Nanqiao failed at his mission and transmigrated into a book. He fawned over a scumbag until his pheromones went haywire, and ended up so miserable he never got to have that kind of life.
After leaving that world and transmigrating into another book, he chooses an Everyone's Darling story for himself. With his good looks and the love of countless people, even the dogs he passes want to lick him twice.
On the day he transmigrates into the book, the sun is shining brightly. He opens his eyes to a familiar scene: a scumbag who doesn't like a little O is about to destroy the little O's gland.
The good news: He's not the protagonist.
The bad news: His parallel-world self is still fawning over the scumbag!
His parallel self is called Liang Han, a frail, pitiful little O who is very likely to repeat his mistakes.
Shen Nanqiao's protective instincts flare. He repeatedly reminds him, "Someone who truly loves you will put you first in every way. They'll make sure you dress warmly when it's cold and feed you when you're hungry. They won't let you suffer even a little!"
Liang Han: "Exactly. Just like you do for me."
By the time Fu Boyu realizes he loves Shen Nanqiao, Shen Nanqiao has vanished without a trace.
Given a second chance at life, Fu Boyu seeks out the little O, only to discover that Shen Nanqiao has not only changed his name, but his personality too.
The little O in this world is called Liang Han. He's taciturn and elegant, no longer relies on Fu Boyu, and spends all day hanging around an annoying Beta.
The strangest part is that the Beta is also called Shen Nanqiao.
At last understanding the truth, Fu Boyu goes to find Shen Nanqiao despite the pain of his heat, only to be horrified to discover that someone else has their teeth on Shen Nanqiao's gland.
Shen Nanqiao, with someone's teeth on his gland, is panicking too. He tries to escape Liang Han's grasp. "How can you possibly be an A?"
After doing it, Shen Nanqiao frantically calls the System: "I topped myself!"
System: "So, was it good?"
Shen Nanqiao, cheeks flushed: refuses to answer.
Note: Selfcest (highlighted).
The Beta is a custom setting: their glands have atrophied but are still present, and they experience false heat symptoms during certain periods.
The scumbag gong chases his shou but fails to win him back.
"The Kid I Raised Tops Me"
Yu Ji is an O who pretends to be an A. When he takes in Zhu Yao, Zhu Yao is a pitiful little kid, only seven or eight years old, at that troublesome age when even dogs can't stand him. He's so well-behaved that it breaks Yu Ji's heart.
After working tirelessly, Yu Ji finally raises the pitiful kid into a beautiful young man, unaware that his pretty flower has secretly become a powerful A and is trying to "turn him gay."
-
Pretending to be an A takes a heavy toll on his gland, and when Yu Ji is thirty-two, he finally decides to enter a marriage of convenience.
His partner is an A, and their "double-A romance" causes an enormous uproar in society.
At the wedding, he's still on a video call remotely comforting the kid: "Even after I get married, you'll still be the oldest in the family. Why are you crying? Or maybe your sister-in-law and I can let you sleep between us?"
The wedding never happens. That night, his bargain-bin marriage partner runs away. Yu Ji gets drunk and, in a haze, sleeps with someone. His gland stabilizes.
After going to great lengths, he finally finds that person.
Good news: He didn't take advantage of some little O.
Bad news: That person is the kid he raised.
Terrifying news: His kid isn't an O. He's a top-tier A.
In an empty room, Zhu Yao grabs his ankle and has his way with him. His voice is full of obsession: "I wish I were an omega. After you marked me, you'd never be able to leave me. I've been researching a drug that could make it happen."
Yu Ji kicks him squarely in the waist. "Enough. I'm not into O-and-O relationships."
Zhu Yao: ?
From Zhu Yao's point of view:
I'm an A. I thought my brother was an A too, and I nearly turned myself into an O for him. Turns out he's the real O.
Not only is he an O, he says he wants to date me.
Was life always this beautiful?
The gong and shou dote on each other. There are some minor setbacks and misunderstandings along the way, so it isn't pure sweetness all the way through.
The gong uses a few little tricks.
The shou is thirty-two, the gong is twenty-two. A ten-year age gap.
Theme: Being alive matters more than anything.
Eat the meal, eat the meal, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahhhh time for a home run (Looking for meat in pure love, looking for pure love in meat, just a little girl, don't scold me)
