"A timid-but-brave junior sister x her big, stray-dog of a senior brother"
You transmigrate into a book, landing in a grim, tragic bad-ending story where evil spirits and demons roam everywhere. You become the ill-fated junior sister in the story.
The System tasks you with fixing the ending and winning over a certain obscure senior brother from the book.
"He's dog-like, so it won't be hard. Just take him for a walk and you'll be fine," the System reassures you.
So you set off without a worry, until you see your senior brother in person:
Proud, down on his luck, cold and heartless.
Obsessive, savage, covered in scars.
Like a trapped beast forever pacing the edge of a cliff, forever struggling through a raging storm.
He suddenly lifts his eyes to look at you. It's not the way you'd look at a junior sister at all. It's more like he's seized upon a runaway prey!
You come to your senses, clutch your head, and let out a scream from the depths of your soul.
"A wild dog counts as dog-like???"
- Uh... why wouldn't it?
[Reading Guide]
1. One-on-one romance with a happy ending. The romance is a little slow to start. The heroine grows over the course of the story, and the hero has trouble trusting others. At first, he thinks he likes the second female lead, and his feelings will gradually change.
2. A little story about a junior sister and a big dog of a senior brother fighting monsters and falling in love. The setting is low-magic xianxia, nontraditional, with a grab bag of original worldbuilding.
3. Written in third person, with roughly equal parts plot and romance. If you only want plot or only want romance, feel free to save it for later and skim the parts you like.
4. The author is terrible at titles and blurbs. I've changed them countless times and still don't like them, so please just read the story itself. It's pretty decent, I promise. T.T
Theme: Raise dogs responsibly. Never abandon them.
Didn't the author stop writing? What a pity
