[The couples I ship can't have a bad ending. I'll write my own fanfiction and enjoy it myself.]
Miss Wang sat on the second floor.
She pushed open the flower window. Beyond it were gray-tiled rooftops, and rain fell into the courtyard between the buildings, like a beaded curtain strung with pearls.
Two grand armchairs stood on the east side of the first-floor veranda. A Bao and the boss sat there, chatting over tea.
As if by telepathy, his gaze followed the curtain of rain upward. He looked at Miss Wang and smiled gently.
Suzhou pingtan was playing in the inner room, singing "Yingying Bows to the Moon":
A tongue-tied lover whispers the secrets of his heart / Unaware that two or three have already slipped out / Spring's beauty has always been so hard to resist...
The rain pattered softly. The sweet Wu dialect flowed, tender and lingering. Banana trees grew outside, while inside, the mirror reflected the lovely figure of a beauty. Miss Wang leaned by the window, drowsy.
A Bao's heart stirred.
Theme: Love
This chapter is so heartbreaking!
Happy New Year, author! Thank you to the author for the wonderful little new year extra! Super pretty!
Wow, there are even cookies!!
The great description of meeting on New Year's Day reminds me of Baowang's appointment with the Pearl at the end of the TV series. I hope the two people in the TV series will finally meet. Thank you for making your dream come true.
This chapter tells the dreams of three people. Po's neon dream came true, Miss Wang's dream of love woke up, and Baosheng's dream of getting rich was shattered. They were filled with great sorrow and great joy. It was so enjoyable to read.
Beautifully written! Accidentally, a rice ball made Miss Wang see the "suicide note" on the handkerchief?
It's so amazing, it can really leave a suspense at the end of each chapter, like a hook, hooking people's hearts all day long!
Very nice. Thank you very much.
Altogether it's thirteen o'clock hahahahahahahahaha
It's really well written. It's a dream come true.
