The Gift Given to the Male Lead

It was a little toy given to the aloof protagonist by his "white moonlight."

Its warmth came from the male owner of the house. The heat it absorbed while he held it in his arms as he slept would soon fade away.

Night after night, he held "it" as he slept.

It thought that perhaps this meant the owner really loved his "white moonlight."

...Perhaps one day, they would be together.

Perhaps everything would turn out like the stories in novels and songs, and they would become a couple who lived happily ever after.

And it would be no more than an insignificant decoration on the wall in their story, like some ornament that flashed past in the background of a movie.

Even in the long years that followed the end of their story, it would remain nothing more than an old toy gradually falling apart in the corner, until its final fate arrived.

But before that day came,

it became able to move.

...Some strange things began happening in the house.

Lu Rongheng, the male owner of the house, came home.

He began noticing that things were always missing from the house.

For example, the pillow toy he liked most would inexplicably appear in different places.

Content warnings: 1. The "white moonlight" isn't a white moonlight; 2. The protagonist is genuinely not human; 3. A lighthearted story with a very lazy protagonist.
