After the Fake Young Master’s Inner Thoughts Were Revealed

-

For the first eighteen years of his life, Xie Chi was pampered and had everything go his way. But after he turned eighteen, everything changed.

At his birthday banquet, his identity as the fake young master was exposed. The real young master, who had suffered terribly, returned from the countryside and immediately took all the Xie family's affection away from him. Even his fiance, whom he had pursued for three years, was stolen from him.

Thinking he owed them, Xie Chi neither fought back nor competed for anything. Still, he was framed and killed. Only after his death did he discover that he was a disposable side character, and everything he'd gone through was merely part of a novel about the real young master's triumphant comeback.

Reborn, Xie Chi refuses to repeat the tragic fate written for him. He dumps his scumbag fiance, cuts ties with his adoptive parents, then turns around and clings to Gu Heng, the head of the Gu family, hoping for his protection.

Gu Heng has been rather puzzled lately. His future nephew-in-law, who pursued his nephew for three years, has had a complete change of heart.

Not only has he called off the engagement, but he's also been constantly showing up at Gu Heng's office. Stranger still, when Gu Heng sees Xie Chi sitting obediently in front of his desk, waiting to have lunch with him, a strange voice rings in his ears.

"Gu Heng is so handsome. I have to seduce him properly over lunch."

Gu Heng is surprised. Gu Heng is confused. For once, Gu Heng finds himself doubting his own judgment.
