I transmigrated into a book, becoming a supporting female character.
Good news: It's a face-slapping revenge story with a female lead!
Bad news: I'm the one getting face-slapped...
In the book, I'm a brainless cannon-fodder supporting character. My daily job is to give the reborn female lead material for face-slapping. After I frame her, the fifth male lead eventually kicks me into an icy lake. I die at sixteen.
The plot has a mind of its own. If I want to go home, I have to cooperate with the female lead and play out the face-slapping scenes until I'm written out for good.
So I can only dutifully play my brainless role, doing my best to get the fifth male lead to hurry up and kill me.
At a banquet, when the female lead's dazzling guqin performance leaves everyone stunned, I say in front of the fifth male lead, "You played beautifully. Don't play again. I'm jealous."
At the temple, when the fifth male lead accompanies the female lead to draw a fortune stick, I rush ahead and throw away all the good ones in the container. Since I've had to stand in the rain, I'm going to tear up everyone else's umbrellas.
After three years of hard work, I've finally reached the point where I'm supposed to exit the story. The fifth male lead tells me he's fallen for me and can't bring himself to kill me...
I'm struck like a bolt of lightning. "Hahahaha! I'm not crazy! I'm not crazy!"
I start acting completely unhinged.
If I can't go home, then everyone can just die!
To the villainous male lead, who is cautious and hides his talents, ruthless, and has been lying low for ten years, I say, "I know you want to rebel. Give it up. You're not going to succeed anyway!"
Male lead: "!"
To the narrow-minded, vindictive second male lead, the crown prince who is about to inherit the throne, I say, "You're a fake crown prince, switched at birth with a civet cat. You're never going to get the throne, so stop dreaming!"
Second male lead: "!!"
And so, I act crazy, seek death, and crash headlong into the plot. The result? I have a bright future ahead of me??
(Told in third person.)
Theme: Life is a play, and everything depends on your acting
