Jiang Wu used to be someone others envied: beautiful, from a good family, and though her grades were only so-so, they were nothing to be ashamed of. She was the very picture of a winner in life.
Everything changed in her senior year of high school, when a girl moved into her home. The girl was someone her parents supported financially. From the moment she arrived, Jiang Yang, Jiang Wu's older brother, admired and defended her. She even brought Jiang Wu's emotionally distant parents closer together, and they began to dote on her.
Jiang Wu became the girl's foil: unloved by her parents and never good enough at school. Gradually, she grew to hate the girl and began to bully and torment her. In the end, everyone turned against Jiang Wu. Her family despised her, her classmates disliked her, and she was eventually driven out of the Jiang family, only to meet a tragic death all the same.
Only after she was bound to a System did she finally understand. Oh, so she was a vicious supporting female character, created solely to make the heroine look better.
The System restarted her life four times. Including her first life, she lived five times, and in every one of them she met a tragic death. Just as she thought she was about to disappear for good, she came back to life again.
For some reason, the System was gone this time. And it seemed she was no longer bound by the plot, either...
