The South Wind Knows My Heart

In midsummer, July, in Jing City, a light rain falls.

After hosting a birthday party for his younger brother, Ji Shencheng leaves the club with a group of rich young men.

Jiang Zhiyi, dressed in white with black hair, waits in the lobby. The manager approaches and smiles at Ji Shencheng. "Mr. Ji, Miss Jiang has been waiting for you a long time."

The young men tease him from the side, asking where this girl came from and how she managed to chase their big brother all the way here.

Ji Shencheng takes an umbrella from his driver and hands it to Jiang Zhiyi. "I'll take you home."

Everyone thinks the eldest Ji heir is just acting on a whim, but the rumors only grow stronger.

Jiang Zhiyi blocks him in the club lobby, visits his family home to celebrate his birthday, and even flies to Licheng specially to look after him...

And Ji Shencheng accepts all of it, which is highly unusual for him.

Thankfully, persistence pays off. Three months later, she finally gets her wish and becomes Ji Shencheng's girlfriend.

Jiang Zhiyi is the first girlfriend Ji Shencheng has ever made public. People in their circle are always happy to show Ji Shencheng and his family respect, so they all heap praise on Jiang Zhiyi, calling them a perfect match, made for each other.

For the first time in her life, Jiang Zhiyi, now in her twenties, experiences a reception like this. Everywhere she goes, she is met with flowers and applause.

The rumors keep growing, but Jiang Zhiyi has little confidence. Only she knows that the stories people made up out of thin air, about her tender devotion to Ji Shencheng and her undying love for him... are all lies.

Soon, word gets out that the powerful Ji Shencheng is about to marry Jiang Zhiyi, leaving practically everyone stunned.

Even his own younger brother, Ji Zhen, can't make sense of it. "Everyone thought you were just acting on a whim. I never expected you to actually marry Miss Jiang. What's so great about her?"

Ji Shencheng replies, "Everything about her is great."

If there's one thing that's not great about her, it's that she has never loved him.
