Five exchange students recently arrived at Teitan Elementary School, and they've picked a fight with the Junior Detective League.
Whenever a student wants to ask the Junior Detective League for help, these five exchange students suddenly pop up and try to butt in.
Some students who don't know the Junior Detective League very well even get misled and go to the wrong group.
That's right.
The five strange exchange students have formed an organization called the Young Masters' Detective League.
[Junior Detective League]
[Young Masters' Detective League]
Students who don't know much about the groups often go to the wrong one.
Whenever that happens, the Junior Detective League members jump in to call out the impostors.
Edogawa Conan: I wish I could install an anti-fraud app across the whole school and consult Aunt Eri about intellectual property law.
And so, the battle between the boys and the young masters is about to begin at Teitan Elementary School. They're determined to find out which team is the one the world truly needs!
---An interview with the people involved:
Reporter: "Why did you name yourselves the Young Masters' Detective League?"
Spokesperson Damian: "It was a misunderstanding caused by Anya misspeaking. Later, we decided the name was pretty good, so we kept it." The truth was that Anya was an idiot who mistook "junior" for "young master"... Damian struggles to save Anya's face.
Reporter: "Why did you suddenly decide to become detectives?"
Damian: "Anya wanted to play. We Eden students are a close-knit group, so we came to Japan together for a student exchange and, of course, we cooperate with each other on lots of things." That's the sugar-coated version. No one can say no to Anya... cue a tearful expression.
Reporter: "Then why challenge the Junior Detective League?"
Damian: "Well... Anya thinks there's only room for one story in the newspaper, so we have to be better than the Junior Detective League to get the biggest headline." No idea why Anya suddenly became so fixated on getting into the paper.
Reporter: "I take it that every member of the Young Masters' Detective League is confident you can beat the Junior Detective League."
Anya cuts in: "With Anya around, the Young Masters' Detective League is sure to win!"
Damian nods. "That's right."
With Damian Desmond on our side, we won't lose to commoners.
