Naive fox spirit x bookish man living alone
The fox spirit Su Lu has little experience of the world. She remembers Sister Lu's warning to stay away from humans. Even when she needs to absorb their vital energy, she makes sure to leave as soon as they're done. But this dull-witted man actually wants her to be his wife? Su Lu looks him up and down. "We foxes choose only the healthiest and strongest husbands. You're so frail, of course you won't do."
After persuading Su Lu to stay, Tian Wangzhi spends his days and nights with her, and thinks they've finally fallen in love with each other. Then he sees her walking into someone else's home, arm in arm with a strong man, all smiles and affection. Furious, he demands, "Wife, what are you doing?"
Later, Tian Wangzhi transforms from a mere scholar into a burly farmer. He holds Su Lu firmly in his arms. "Now that I'm strong, you can take as much of my vital energy as you want, wife."

I really like the stories in this series. The male protagonist's thoughts at the beginning are really pedantic and annoying, but it takes such a straight-forward and powerful female protagonist to control him~ The characters written by the author are real and cute, so keep writing!
