◆ Synopsis:

There is a wonderful tale told in Heaven and on Earth: if you see mountains and rivers reflected in the moon, falling from the edge of the sky, you are sure to have good luck. For immortals, it might mean a promotion or a handy weapon. For mortals, it might mean great wealth and status, a lifetime free of hunger and want, or a scholar passing the imperial exams at the first attempt.

But this sight of mountains and rivers reflected in the moon, falling from the edge of the sky, may not appear even once in ten thousand years. By coincidence, it appeared just as Heaven's Will was choosing local deities, and two were sent at once. Yet it began appearing more and more often, and the Seven Stars grew more worried with each passing day.

Just then, the throne changed hands. The newly enthroned Heavenly Emperor, however, was not the essence of dew from a mountain spring reflected in the moon. Fearing that something had gone wrong, the Seven Stars sealed away bamboo slips concerning the Heavenly Emperor's identity, until Qian Xian's rebellion...
