You Can't Really Be This Bad

The Hymn squad ranks among the upper-middle teams in the academy.

It has a captain skilled in strategy, a warrior with muscles to spare, and a mechanic with expert marksmanship.

They have all the bases covered: command, close combat, and ranged combat.

Yi Jiangqiu doesn't fit into any of those roles.

He scavenges loot from defeated enemies, brings paper and pens to the commander, checks the close-combat fighter's equipment, and supplies ammunition to the mechanic.

He's the team's resident slacker and everyone's walking supply pack.

One day, while Yi Jiangqiu was picking up loot behind his teammates and enjoying the thrill of opening mystery boxes, a series of explosions suddenly rang out ahead. In his headset, his teammates screamed as they were taken out.

"Run!!!"

Yi Jiangqiu: ?

On the vast battlefield, Yi Jiangqiu was the only Hymn slacker left alive.

And a full enemy squad was closing in.

His teammates, already logged out, silently shut their eyes, unable to bear the thought of Yi Jiangqiu being surrounded and beaten up by four enemies.

But who says a slacker has to be bad at the game?

P.S. The blurb is still being worked on.

Theme: You can slack off, but you can't actually be bad.
