Snow Child

The city lord hated winter, so he locked up the Winter Maiden and the Snow Child. He also spread frightening rumors around the city, claiming that the Snow Child was a monster.

Later, someone secretly let the Snow Child out. On its way to rescue the Winter Maiden, it met an old farmer's grandson, an eagle, a leopard, and the Spring, Summer, and Autumn Maidens. With their help, the Snow Child successfully rescued the Winter Maiden. The city lord had long been disrupting the natural order, causing the city's crop yields to fall drastically. The enemy army seized the opportunity to invade. Through the combined efforts of the Snow Child, the Winter Maiden, and their friends, the enemy was driven away and the city's people were protected. Only then did the people realize that the Winter Maiden and the Snow Child were not as terrifying as the rumors had claimed.

Later, the Snow Child scattered auspicious snow over the fields. The following autumn, the crops yielded a bumper harvest, and the people lived in plenty from then on. The old farmer's grandson also became the city's new lord, thanks to his kindness and courage.
