Starved for Love, Yet I Ascended to Immortality

Su Zheng endured a turbulent and unsettled childhood. With no one to rely on, she was desperately starved for affection.

When she embarked on the arduous, endless path of cultivation, she was once lost and helpless, and developed complicated feelings for the powerful people who stayed by her side.

Later, she left those people, who had only temporarily been stronger than her, far behind.

She held fast to her own kite string, letting her kite fly higher and higher.

She would always belong to herself. She would always protect herself. She would always control and decide her own fate.

She would always love herself.

Please note:

1. The worldbuilding is based on the usual conventions of cultivation stories, with some original additions.

2. This story aims for an ensemble cast. Everyone has their own background and tangled conflicts, but their ultimate goal is to attain the Dao and become an immortal. They simply take different approaches, methods, and paths.

3. The heroine is so starved for affection that she accepts whatever comes her way, whether or not they are right for her or she likes them, as long as they fill her emotional hunger. There may be some harem-like romance elements.

Theme: Love someone stronger than yourself, then surpass him.
