After the Background NPC Returned to Their Body

Blurb to be revised.

Mingxi is a background NPC in a Mary Sue melodramatic tragedy.

That's right, she's neither the heroine nor the villainess. She's an NPC with no connection to the main characters.

Just after she awakens the ability to control her own consciousness, before she can even go buy a milk tea, a powerful force sends her flying.

Mingxi: I really want milk tea, okay?!

As she watches herself fly straight toward the main couple, who are flirting with each other, Mingxi realizes that someone else has taken control of her body.

So she floats in the air, watching someone else use her body to gradually get flirtatious with the male lead.

Mingxi: Body, don't go over there! Male lead, don't come over here!

Luckily, an accident returns her to her body.

She swears she has absolutely no feelings for the male lead. There's someone else she likes.

So she makes a hasty escape and draws a clear line between herself and the male lead.

She refuses to let someone else control her body.

She still wants to drink milk tea. She's been longing for it for three whole months.

Then she'll go after the person she likes: Wen Qingzhou, the cannon-fodder third male lead in the book.

But she never expected that Wen Qingzhou wouldn't believe her anymore.

Mingxi: ...Listen, I know this is hard to believe, but that person before wasn't me.

Wen Qingzhou: Okay.

Mingxi: Huh? Didn't you say you didn't believe me?

Wen Qingzhou: As long as it's you, I'll believe anything you say.

Mingxi: ?

They fall for each other! The original novel's male and female leads have very little page time.
