Diagnosed with a terminal illness, Jiang Bingsi quits his job and doesn’t go to the hospital. He simply tells his parents, “I don’t have long to live, so there’s no point wasting money on treatment. I want to go out and see the world.”
Unfortunately, before he even reaches his first destination, he gets hit by a truck while saving someone and is sent to another world. It really is a portal to another world: one hit, and you don’t even make a sound.
This story is plot-heavy, with a mountain of original worldbuilding and an otherworldly setting. It’s a slow burn! I’m making major revisions at the start, with big changes to the plot. It’s basically starting over.
Also, this isn’t a choose-your-love-interest story, but it might as well be one, so anyone who dislikes that should be careful. I’ll find time to revise the story.
