Optimistic, beloved girl x dazzling boy
-
Born in the 1990s, Jiang Zhi had a smooth and carefree life.
Her greatest setback was no more than the demolition of her house to make way for Guangzhou Metro Line 2.
By 2010, her home had become a popular photo spot online: Jiahewanggang, Guangzhou's famous breakup station.
She had no choice but to board a train headed in the opposite direction from Xiao Ran.
The boy she loved flew north, thirty thousand feet into the sky.
She boarded a train south, putting an end to every flutter of her youth.

Guangzhou Metro Line 2 had been packed with commuters for eight years straight.
Just back from overseas, Xiao Ran sat on the train listening to the familiar Cantonese announcement:
"The next station is the terminus of this train, Jiahewanggang."
They had arrived. He stepped through the platform screen doors.
He had thought the bustling station would be no different from when he left.
But just as the train opposite pulled in and its doors opened...
A pair of crescent-shaped eyes, full of smiles, met his gaze.
And seemed to expose the biggest secret in his heart.
*The name Jiang Zhi filled all the years of my childhood and adolescence. Since I was very young, she has been the biggest secret I've kept from the whole world. -- From Xiao Ran's love letter
