Blurb:
The story begins with a sudden idea from Kuroko's friend.
His best friend heard that he wasn't planning to pursue professional basketball and enthusiastically "planned" his future for him: he copied down a bunch of job titles, then had him draw one at random.
He drew "police officer."
Job security, the need for a strong body, and his perfect academic score made Kuroko somewhat interested.
In the end, Kuroko scraped through the physical test and got into the police academy. Then, upon graduating, he became an undercover agent.
His police superintendent was very earnest when he said, "You absolutely mustn't turn this down. You're really perfect for it."
Kuroko never imagined that a few months later, after successfully infiltrating the Black Organization, he would hear his new boss say the same thing, then quickly assign him to go undercover with "the Port-whatever Black."
His new boss, Mr. Mori: "You're a real talent. I have an assignment for you."
In the blink of an eye, Kuroko became an undercover agent planted in the world of jujutsu sorcerers.
Not long after that, to his surprise, the higher-ups in the jujutsu world respectfully arranged a position for him in the police force.
During the handover, his police superintendent asked Kuroko, "How far did you make it in the Black Organization? Did you earn the title of True Whiskey?"
Kuroko: "...Boss, I accidentally climbed high enough to become your superior."
This world has got to be kidding.
