Why Does Long Aotian Keep Staring at Me?

*

Chu Chengyi was bound to a System.

The System told him that he was the protagonist of a story, but his life was a mix of exhilarating highs and miserable lows. In the end, all his friends and family would die, leaving him to become a god alone. The System's mission was to help the male lead change his original tragic ending.

Then the System produced a fanfic of the original story.

The kind with the speedometer redlining.

It explained that the Heavenly Dao would punish it if it showed him the original story, so it could only use fan-created works to help him understand the plot.

System: The characterizations are off by just a tiny bit, and the subject matter is a little prone to getting banned, but the general direction of the story is still pretty much the same.

Chu Chengyi opened the story and found himself working hard to rise through the ranks while hooking up with all kinds of characters.

Men and women alike, but he was always the bottom.

Chu Chengyi was so startled that he dropped the story on the floor.

He asked shakily, "Only a tiny bit off?"

The System nodded. "Yeah, just a tiny bit."

The overpowered hero, who didn't understand the innuendo: "This is awful!"

No wonder it was a tragedy!

Chu Chengyi: "No, no way! We have to find a way to fix this!"

Wait, there was an NPC who never once tried to get in his pants, and whenever they appeared together, the scene became perfectly respectable.

System: Could it be that he's just a heartless plot device?

Chu Chengyi: "This is so moving!"

"From now on, I'm sticking by your side! You have to keep an eye on me!"

The odd-job disciple who had inexplicably become the target of his clinginess wondered:

Why had the sect's most brilliant disciple suddenly gotten so close to him?

And why was he staring at him with such a passionate gaze?

Had they found out he was a mighty ascended expert who had returned to his homeland?

Xing Zhan, who was hoping to retire in peace: Danger!

The perspectives are split evenly between the top and bottom. Read with caution if that bothers you.
