Shen Wendao transmigrates on New Year's Eve. That's a good thing.
But she's not in great shape. Her throat feels as if she's swallowed shards of glass, her head aches, she's burning with a fever, and she's lost her voice.
The starting map in this new world is a deserted primeval forest. The unfamiliar trees are so tall and thick that they make her look like a tiny dwarf.
Wolves howl, tigers roar, and the biting wind makes her little face ache.
Shen Wendao finds a pit to lie in and peacefully closes her eyes. As she adjusts her position, she spots a flash of white through her lashes.
A ghost!
She suddenly opens her eyes and sees a fairy in white, her expression cool and indifferent.
The fairy takes her home, assumes she's a little mute, treats her illness, teaches her to cultivate, and even wants to form a bond with her.
The fairy's name is Liu Xunxian. Seeking immortality and pursuing the Dao: it seems they were meant to be together.
But Shen Wendao quickly senses something is off. She suspects she's a stand-in, and that Liu Xunxian raised her as a child bride because she looks like the dead love of her life.
So she ruins their bonding ceremony and declares that she will never be anyone's substitute in this life.
But Liu Xunxian is impossible to dissuade. She insists on marrying Shen Wendao, who keeps getting fed up and sending her away. She never expected that one day, sending her away would become their final goodbye.
Liu Xunxian sacrifices herself to the Dao, dying without a trace to save all living beings.
Shen Wendao goes mad. She searches every inch of the continent, exhausting every means at her disposal, but can't find even a speck of the woman's ashes.
The world is vast, but there is no one left named Liu Xunxian.
Blurb 2
Unable to find her, Shen Wendao finds another pit and lies down in it.
A little dumpling crashes down into the pit and wakes her.
The more Shen Wendao looks at the little dumpling, the more she resembles her dead master. So Shen Wendao kidnaps her.
On the third day of trying to survive with the little dumpling, Shen Wendao realizes she's transmigrated again, this time a thousand years into the past. The little dumpling is her master, not yet grown up.
Shen Wendao decides to raise the little dumpling first, then marry her as soon as she grows up, giving nobody else a chance.
Her beloved, the light of her life: as long as Shen Wendao is around, nobody else gets a chance.
Reading guide:
1. A suspicious, half-mad disciple vs. a pure-hearted, emotionless Daoist master. One-on-one, with both raising the other.
2. The author is going crazy again.
3. I can't write sweet stories, so there may be a little angst.
Theme: If you've made a mistake, do everything in your power to make up for the regret!
If the author is tired, take a break and write two chapters 🤩
Will this book be updated?
In the eyes of Xunxian: Poor little 🐶
"I fell in love with Shen Wendao," and I gave the author a big worm~
Teacher, I want to confirm first. Is this a sweet article? I was so scared when I saw the copy [Make me healthy]
Wow, Ghost Story +1
I like the big text! The narration is well-organized, and it is very comfortable and smooth to read. Don't rest anymore 😳
Found a treasure, let's tie it!
Is this the foreshadowing of the introduction? 😭
It doesn't matter if it's a bit cruel in the middle. Is it he or be at the end 😳
