Everyone knows that there is a compassionate deity in the world of escape games.
Among the gathering places of ghosts and monsters, this deity is a refreshing exception. While the other ghosts and monsters are bent on killing the humans who enter their world, this deity has already begun saving every human who accidentally wanders in.
At the same time, every veteran player in the world of escape games knows that this compassionate deity is under the control of the evil god who rules that world.
Finally, one day, the deity resisted the suppression and descended into every world of ghosts and monsters, personally helping players escape the man-eating worlds.
From then on, every player hoped to end up in the same world of ghosts and monsters as this legendary deity.
Before long, the players noticed that an obscure nobody had taken the top spot on the power rankings created by the world of escape games.
Players who had met the top-ranked player said that, first of all, this person was a beauty; secondly, the beauty had a terrible temper; and lastly, the beauty was softhearted.
The players seemed to realize something incredible: the top-ranked player, this beauty, appeared to be that compassionate deity.
Xie Shize had always thought himself exceptionally lucky, but one day he was suddenly dragged into a world full of ghosts and monsters where people died at the drop of a hat.
Xie Shize took it in stride. As a man with his Luck Buff stacked to the max, he firmly believed that even if he stood right in front of a ghost or monster, he wouldn't die.
And so they ended up with the ghosts and monsters chasing from behind, the players running ahead, and the beauty walking in the middle, claiming to be covering their retreat. It was a bizarre sight.
But as he played along, Xie Shize realized that these people seemed to think he was their savior.
Shameless Xie Shize: Whatever, when the ghosts show up, I run faster than anyone else.
Meanwhile, a certain true deity who had descended into the world of ghosts and monsters watched the player whom everyone called a deity and ground their teeth in fury.
Then the players suddenly noticed that this deity had somehow acquired a little sidekick, who was an expert at acting cute and sweet-talking the softhearted deity into doing whatever he wanted.
The players who had witnessed the sidekick's change in attitude: Oh, god, please abandon him! Men will only slow down your efforts to save humanity!
Xie Shize glanced at his obedient and considerate little sidekick. "Get lost, go away. Don't interrupt my romance."
