If your birth is like a card game, where you draw a hand and end up with the worst cards, what should you do?
Liv was born into a new world. Looking at her terrible hand, she fell into deep thought. As the lowest rung on the food chain, she seemed to have only two choices: put up with it while crying, or put up with it while smiling. Facing several swift and powerful predators, Liv gave a faint smile.
You're all stronger than me, right? Your cards are all better than mine, right? Then no one's playing!
And with that, she flipped the table and dragged it away in one smooth motion.
Important statement:
This story expresses no opinions about anyone's religious beliefs. It merely borrows the trappings of the Bible and a few names to tell an entirely new story.
I'm still a beginner and finding my way. I want to add some shocking twists to the otherwise plain prose. This story goes a bit far, so if anything makes you uncomfortable, please feel free to offer feedback and suggestions.
Theme: Don't be afraid of bad luck. If it lasts long enough, you get used to it
It's a great idea, I feel like it could be a complete short and medium story if I fill it in a little bit.
