Red and Black

What happens when a white hat hacker meets a black hat hacker?

It rained more than usual this year. The rain fell day and night without stopping, the air was cool, and the roads were slick.

A lot happened that summer. In June, during a war fought out of sight, Gu Xichao met someone. At the time, he didn't know who he was, what kind of person he was, or what he did. It was less a war than a farce, starting with a bang and ending in a whimper. The only thing worth remembering was how the two of them met.
