When Peter Parker Became a Batkid [Western Crossover]

Hello, everyone. My name is Peter Parker, AKA Spider-Man.

I lost my parents when I was young, and at fifteen I got bitten by a spider and turned into a human-shaped spider demon... I've already told you all that, so let me share something different:

I've played Spider-Man-themed games since I was little, and even went to a parallel universe to fight Venom, laying a solid foundation for my future career as Spider-Man. And all of it was so I could turn my cheerful old dad back into an exhausted middle-aged man who never smiles, within a week of becoming Spider-Man!

Anyway, I'd better get going. I need to buy Bruce a Father's Day present.

Reader's guide:

1. The main story is told in third person.

2. This combines a heavily modified Earth -22 with the solo Spider-Man universe. Anything that seems off is the author's own headcanon.

3. Although this is the Earth -22 universe, the Batman Who Laughs never appears in full in the story.

4. The games in the first three chapters are memories of the young Spider-Man from before the reboot. They won't be mentioned after chapter three. There is a Tom Holland Spider-Man parallel universe, which you can skip if it's not your thing.

5. The author is a complete beginner. Any out-of-character moments are my fault. If you can't keep reading, feel free to tell me off, just don't insult anything else.
