In her previous life, Li Fuguang was driven to suicide by her ex-husband.
Before she could even be reincarnated, her ex-husband sealed her soul inside the Investiture of the Gods and gave her the title "Star of Misfortune."
Any resistance would be punished with the Divine Whip. Three lashes were enough to scatter her soul into oblivion.
Years later, her ex-husband was finally buried, and she was at last set free.
But by then, her reputation was already in tatters.
She worked like a beast of burden for the Heavenly Emperor, yet was treated with contempt.
The other immortals wanted nothing to do with her, and even the immortal beasts thought she brought bad luck.

After the war between Heaven and Earth, the selfish, greedy village woman Li Fuguang was named the infamous Star Lord of Misfortune, thanks to her ex-husband Yao Xian's selfless sacrifice.
At the Heavenly Emperor's birthday banquet, she first disrupted the festivities, then got drunk and took liberties with a handsome, unfamiliar wandering immortal.
When she sobered up, she decided to take responsibility and find him to ask for his forgiveness.
But for some reason, no matter how hard she looked, she couldn't find the wandering immortal.

He [with a dangerous look in his eyes]: Really…
