Full title: "About How I Ran Away from Home to Gotham and Ended Up as the Archbishop. I Had Nothing, So I Convinced People with Nothing but My Mouth, Scammed Them for Money, Duped Them, and Got Them to Work for Me. They Call Me a Capitalist, but I Think I'm Pretty Nice. Any Ideas?" Arella was bound to the Archbishop System and was about to take up the position of archbishop at the number-one church in America. But before she could take office... she first had to build the church. Arella: ??? In Gotham, with no money, no assistants, and no followers. Q: How do you start America's number-one church when you're starting from absolute rock bottom? Arella's answer: Uphold the fine traditions of Gotham! This Little Red Hood would make a great priest. Recruit him, recruit him! This little Red Bird is especially good at playing a nun. Recruit him, recruit him! This Iceberg Lounge would be perfect for gatherings. Recruit it, recruit it! Arkham has plenty of talent to develop. Believe in me, all of you, believe in me! Oh, and you too. Ahem. Sir, would you like to join my church, listen to my sermons, serve me, and put your faith in me? Batman, investigating Arella, looked at the rebellious "priest" who could barely suppress his urge to stab someone, the brilliant detective "nun" who couldn't keep up her fake smile, the former restaurant owner nursing a broken heart, and a flock of "believers" who all seemed completely unhinged. Batman: ... Batman: Let's discuss this at GCPD. Arella: ??? What exactly is wrong here??? Reader's guide: * Unrelated to Cultist Simulator. * The protagonist is selfish and self-centered to a degree. * Jason pairing. * All the occult lore is made up by the author, with some inspiration from Elden Ring. * This story does not allude to any real-world religion. In essence, it's about the heroine starting a company from scratch. Theme: A harmonious society is for you and me.
