When I was little, I found a little deity.

He said he could grant me one wish.

I asked, "Can I marry you when I grow up?"

The little deity said I was just a child saying silly things.

I didn't understand why he said that. I was already twelve, and the little deity looked no older than seven.

He explained that his divine powers had been damaged, so he had the appearance of a child. In truth, he was over thirty thousand years old.

He urged me to choose another wish, but I still wanted to marry him.

He said it was impossible. He would never fall in love with anyone.

He took my hand and offered to read my fortune, intending to reveal the person I was truly destined to be with so I would give up.

But when he saw the result, he was rarely flustered. He stared at me for a long time.

I asked who my destined partner was, but he kept quiet and avoided the question.

Later, I found out.

It was him.
