Beginning: Mo Lin, the male lead, has never had any friends because he has studied dan roles since childhood. His mother controls every part of his life, until his father uses a job transfer to take him to another city, where he begins to experience real life. That is how he meets the warmhearted and kind Su Shunqing, the female lead.

Ending: They face the trials of fate and return to who they were at the beginning.
Theme: I hope that every child who feels lost can stay true to themselves, hold fast to their ideals, and find their own path when facing hardship.
