A Charlatan, Not a Strategist

Coming soon: Open the Door, Sis-in-Law, It's Your Brother

Zhu Qing'an, a modern master of metaphysics, is transported to an unfamiliar age of warlords and somehow becomes a spy recently captured by the Marquis of Zhongzhou.

At first, he just wants to stay alive and get a decent night's sleep. So Zhu Qing'an shows off a little, helping the Marquis of Zhongzhou read people, settle disputes, and predict the right moment for battle.

"This man has the Seven Killings star in his fate, with the Seven Killings facing the Dipper. He's born to be a general of slaughter! My lord, put him to use!"

"This man has Ziwei and Tianfu in the same palace, with prosperity in his property palace and flourishing fortune and parental palaces. He may look like a beggar, but he must have been deceived while his luck was bad. He's absolutely a pampered rich kid! My lord, hurry and kidnap... I mean, rescue him! Don't let him get away!"

"This man... I don't know his birth date, but he has thick ears, long ears, and large earlobes. His mouth suggests kindness, his eyes are clear and strong, and his face shows both talent and popular support. My lord, aren't you looking for a magistrate? Put him to work!"

He selects talent for the Marquis of Zhongzhou, executes treacherous turncoats, and always predicts the weather and timing perfectly. The Zhongzhou army wins every battle and becomes a legendary force. The people prosper as the rear areas flourish... and now he can't leave.

Marquis of Qizhou: Damn it! We have to steal that strategist from Zhongzhou! Bring him back alive! Don't let a single hair on his head get hurt!

Marquis of Liangzhou: Hell yeah! That strategist from Zhongzhou has to be mine! What? He's hard to steal? Then what does he like? Lure him in! Guys with eight-pack abs? We've got plenty! All of you, go seduce him!

Marquis of Xiping: What did you say? That useless man defected? He even turned his back on you, his own white moonlight? Damn that Marquis of Zhongzhou! What did he offer him?

As fireflies dance through the summer night, the Marquis of Zhongzhou looks at his strategist. "...Take a look. Is it possible I'll never get married in this life?"

Zhu Qing'an lowers his eyes to the chart. "No. My lord's marriage star was already activated. It's your destined match, a happy match, someone you'll stay with until your hair turns white... I recommend proposing to the person you love as soon as possible. This person brings wealth, rank, fortune, and prosperity. Marrying them could double the speed at which you conquer the realm!"

The Marquis of Zhongzhou: "You once said that fate cannot be defied."

Zhu Qing'an: "Generally speaking, it's best not to."

The Marquis of Zhongzhou winds his fingers around the strategist's hand and laces their fingers together. "So, when are you going to marry me?"
